Teachers

Lama Jigme Rinpoche

Lama Jigme Rinpoche was born in 1949 in Eastern Tibet into the family of H.H. 16th Gyalwa Karmapa. He received extensive teachings and empowerments from the 16th Karmapa, who during his first visit in the West left him there as his European representative, saying: “In the person of Lama Jigme Rinpoche, I leave you my heart.” Today Jigme Rinpoche acts as the representative of Thaye Dorje, His Holiness 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, in Europe

Lama Ole Nydahl

Lama Ole Nydahl was born in 1941 in Copenhagen. During his stay in the Himalayas with his wife Hannah, they become the first Western students of the 16th Karmapa and received Buddhist teachings and empowerments from many important masters. Ole Nydahl is a fully qualified lama and meditation master of the Diamond Way Buddhism. His modern approach inspired a growing interest in Buddhism and meditation in the West.

Public transportation
If you are going to the lecture hall then it would be: Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 station (Prag Airport) to Nádraží Veleslavín station (bus 15 mins) then you change to the subway; Nádraží Veleslavín station - Hradčanská station (subway 6 mins) and then you take the tram (1, 26, 8, 25) Hradčanská station - Sparta station (tram 2 mins).
